SHUさんは、2022年12月に日本テレビ「第10回 歌唱王」に出演。司会は南原清隆さんで、特別ゲストはYOSHIKIさんでした。
この時SHUさんは、本名の長澤秀平さんとして出場していましたね。
また、日本では英語塾講師をしながら音楽活動していた事がわかりました。
しかし、SHUさんは中国でも活躍していた為、日本に完全に滞在しているというわけではなさそうですね。

SHUさんは、2024年12月から始まった柴咲コウさんの全国ライブツアー『KO SHIBASAKI LIVE TOUR 2024 ACTOR’S THE BEST 〜響宴〜』にコーラスとして参加しました。
約2ヶ月間にわたり12都市を巡ったツアーは、2025年2月前半に無事完走している事を報告しています。

自分の人生という箱の中に、

「現役歌王Japan」に出演
SHUさんは、2025年7月から始まった韓国発サバイバル番組「現役歌王JAPAN」(BS日テレ)に出演。
韓国で話題性と高視聴率を記録した「現役歌王」の日本版が上陸しました。ジャンルや経験を問わず、歌に対する情熱に溢れた日本最強の男性ボーカル7名を決めるサバイバルオーディション番組です。
MCはBIGBANGのD-LITEさんで、日本最強に選ばれた7名は、韓国の精鋭7名と戦う事になります。そして、1位になった人には賞金1000万！
現在SHUさんは、TOP7まで選ばれ、今後優勝争いが待っています。
果たしてどうなるのでしょうか。

結果は10点と厳しい評価でしたが、本選へ進出しました。

予選突破したのは、SHUさんを含め16名。第一次戦では、1対1の一曲バトルに挑戦！

SHUさんと戦った相手は、Novelbrightの竹中雄大さんで、誰もが戦いたくない相手をあえて選び、「雄大さんと一緒にこの曲を歌いたかった。みなさんの記憶にずっと残るようなパフォーマンスがしたいだけです。」と話していました。
歌唱曲は、優里の「ペテルギウス」。この2人の歌唱は、聴いている全員を魅了し、放送後の動画再生回数が115万回を超えるほど反響がありました。

どの組もパフォーマンス後は、勝者は気まずくて、敗者は悔しい為、顔を合わせて戻る組はなかったのに対し、SHUさんは、竹中さんを褒め、「良いパフォーマンスだった、ありがとう」と感謝していました。悔しいはずなのに、心の広さや人柄が見えました。
残念ながらSHUさんは、脱落候補に進み、敗者復活戦へ。

敗者復活戦に進んだのは、SHUさんを含めた8人。
この8人から2チームに分かれて、各チームから1人が復活するという戦いです。
決められた楽曲「最後の雨」「負けないで」を制限時間１時間でチームごと練習し発表。

「負けないで」：Masaya、海蔵亮太、川合結人、SHU

番組では、川合結人さんが曲を知らないと苦戦している様子が出ていましたが、実は、SHUさんも歌詞やメロディを知らなかったようでした。しかし、さすがプロ！1時間の間に完璧に仕上げてきました。
4人でのパフォーマンスは、勝敗関係なく、音楽を楽しんでいてとても感動しました。

敗者復活で見事本選第2次戦に進んだSHUさん。
今回の戦いは、1対1の指名バトル！SHUさんは、TAKUYAさんに指名され、対戦！点数が高かった方がTOP7に進みます。
SHUさんが歌った曲は、Mrs. GREEN APPLEの「Soranji」でした。
Result6ｰ3でSHUさんの勝利！
第一声聴いただけで鳥肌が立ちました。たぶん聴いていた人ほとんどが心奪われたと思います。SHUさんの優しい美声が「Soranji」にマッチして感動的なパフォーマンスでした。
